In trying to get the public excited and ready for the UFC White House event (formally known as UFC Freedom 250, a moronic name), recent actions by UFC President Dana White and the organization itself are making clear they’re becoming aware just how much they’re perceived as a right-wing company. As such, they don’t want to distance themselves from Trump (how could they even try that?), but instead want the public to think they’re just middle of the road operators who’ll work with anyone.
In this video, I show you a recent appearance by White on The Pat McAfree Show. As you’ll see, it’s beginning to dawn on the UFC that helping to return to power a political extremist who tried to steal a presidential election and is now actively setting the world on fire is causing negative associations with their brand. So what is their solution? Gaslighting of the highest order.
