We’re just hours away from the UFC White House event as of the time of this publication. Candidly, I’ll be glad when it’s over, but before we get there, I wanted to put together some thoughts about my experience covering the lead up to this event and what we might anticipate on the broadcast tonight.
As you’ll hear me explain, I’ve noticed a change in media from the time I started doing interviews until now. This event has clashed with DC in a way few might appreciate. I’m also very curious to see what kind of treatment Donald Trump actually gets during the broadcast. Depending on how that goes, it could affect a lot of already uneasy sentiment from long-time fans unable to recognize a sport they once loved.
